Amelia's crawl space was a mess since there was no protection, just a dirt floor. She called Ayers for our crawl space repair solutions. Our crew determined after an inspection that she needed CleanSpace. This solution consists of a heavy-duty, plastic sheet that covers the crawl space floor. It is specially made with inorganic material and a vapor barrier to prevent the growth of bacteria or mold. There will no longer be excess moisture polluting Amelia's crawl space and there will be a barrier between the harmful dirt ground and her home. Her crawl space has completely transformed and is well-protected!

Michael realized water moisture was seeping into his basement and couldn't find the source. He researched his options online and called Ayers to learn about our waterproofing solutions. We sent a crew of experts to visit his home and examine the space, who recommended installing the CleanSpace vapor barrier. CleanSpace is an antimicrobial-lined material applied to the basement walls and floors without gaps to eliminate moisture and prevent mold growth. Pat and Arden are retiring in their forever home but they have recently noticed it is hard to breathe the air in the home and they are worried it is mold. Upon inspection, not only did we have the perfect solution to their mold problem, but we found that their floors were not properly supported. Brian's basement and crawlspace were in dire need of waterproofing and presented many of the issues crawl spaces in Michigan have; it was moist, leaking, and filled with critters. As you can see, humidity in this crawl space led to mold, rot, and leaky ducts. This is caused when condensation forms on cold surfaces like ducts and pipes.

We helped this owner insulate and seal their extensive crawl space to solve these problems. We installed our CleanSpace system to stop water vapor from entering through the soil and the crawl space walls. Before installing the bright white CleanSpace liner, we laid out drainage matting to provide a waterproof barrier between the exposed soil floor and Brain's basement. The liner is engineered with an inorganic material that prevents mold and bacteria growth, protecting Brian and his family from illnesses like asthma or allergies.

George called because even though he had what he thought was a vapor barrier installed in his crawl space, he was still noticing moisture in parts of - mostly the area below the bedrooms. He was older and didn't want to go down there himself, so he asked us to come to an inspection and let him know what would fix it permanently.

Whoever had done work in his crawl space hadn't put down a true barrier, but instead the plastic sheeting many people use just to cover the dirt and think "good enough." Unfortunately it isn't good enough to keep moisture out of your crawl space and home. 

We installed CleanSpace vapor barrier with drainage matting in the entire crawl space, which will prevent water issues in the future and keep George's home safe and dry.
