This homeowner contacted us about some evidence of water intrusion in her basement along the block walls. Our Design Specialist, Chris, recommended our WaterGuard perimeter drainage system to prevent water from coming in and causing any damage. We also installed our reliable SuperSump which has a WaterWatch alarm system that emits a sound similar to a smoke detector if water rises above a point where the pump should have kicked in. It also features an airtight lid to prevent moisture from evaporating into the basement and keeps out bugs and odors. We also buried the discharge line in the backyard and installed an IceGuard System which allows water to escape if the discharge pipe freezes or becomes blocked for any reason.
