Russ went to Debbie's house, inspected the window and the space he had to work with, and proposed our Egress Window and RockWell Window Well. Our Foreman, Raul A., and his crew installed our Egress Window first, followed by our RockWell Window Well. Our Egress is large enough to allow a safe exit from the basement, it provides more natural light to the room, and it makes the basement feel larger and more inviting. Chad determined that the best way to ensure that Stephen would never have to worry about a wet basement would be to install WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement and then install a SuperSump sump pump to properly expel the water to the outside. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the basement wall perimeter, which is designed to prevent mold and humidity, save money on energy bills, and it gives the basement a clean appearance. Lastly, our team installed our Wall Anchors over the CleanSpace to straighten the walls and pull them back to their natural position. To complete the installation, our team filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied a new layer of concrete over them, ensuring the space was neat and clean.
