A homeowner in Saint Peter, MN had many years of experience with water damage in their basement, so they finally gave American Waterworks a call after seeing our vehicles and yard signs around their hometown. They scheduled a FREE Estimate with one of our Design Specialists to examine their basement and design a detailed solution. The homeowner was confident in our proposal of our Basement to Beautiful Wall Panels and our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain and their warranties, so they signed the contract. 

Our Foreman and his production team started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a waterway trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain, which serves as an underground drain, collects leaking water from basement walls, and prevents water and mud clogs. Next, our team installed our Basement to Beautiful Wall Panels around the entire wall perimeter. These wall panels provide energy savings, serve as a protective blanket, and prevent wood rot and mold growth. To complete the project, our team filled the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete over them. The homeowner was thrilled with the work and had a great experience!

We sent one of our Design Specialists, Shane Nephew, to meet with Amanda, inspect the problem, and propose a solution. Our Foreman, Tremaine Jackson and his crew replaced the existing sump pumps with our recommended TripleSafe sump pump, a SuperSump sump pump, and upgraded the pump in the remaining sump pump. Russ went to Sam's house, inspected his basement window, and provided a quote going over our Egress Window. Our Foreman, Clay, and his crew excavated out the soil around the basement window, forming a big trench. Once the trench was formed, our crew broke out the wall to install the Egress Window. Our Egress Windows are made to add light and fresh air to the basement while providing a safe way to exit from the home. After that, our team installed our RockWell Window Well, which is a one-piece construction that allows for a safe exit out of the home in case of an emergency. To complete the project, our team backfilled the soil and ensured the yard was cleaner than when they first got there.

Marie of Anoka, MN, was beginning to notice that she was experiencing pooling water in the crawl space beneath her home. She wanted to know what could be done to fix the issue, so she gave us a call. When she got in contact with us, she used her FREE estimate with us to have our Design Specialist, Shane, out to her property to do a thorough inspection. When Shane completed, he was able to make a recommendation as to how American Waterworks could best help Marie. He suggested that we wrap the entire space in our CleanSpace to catch any water entering the space through cracks or porous holes in the walls of the space. Next, he wanted to use our drainage matting to ensure that any water would find its way to the appropriate disposal site. The raised dimples on this matting give the water flooding into the crawl space a natural channel underneath the crawl space liner that directs the water to a perimeter drain or sump pump. Marie agreed with Shane's recommendations and work began shortly after. Our Foreman, Chris, was able to make quick work of their installations. They ended up wrapping the basement in 460 sqft of CleanSpace and used another 260 sqft of our drainage matting on the floor of the crawl space. The crew finished the job by using our Spray Foam, a sprayable foam used to insulate the remaining cracks between the floor and ceiling joists. 

When the job was completed, Marie was satisfied with the work and happy to know that her waterproofing issues were in the past!
