A homeowner from Winona, MN, was facing an issue with the existing sump pump in her basement. Mac made sure to pay extra attention to the sump in the basement. When he finished his walkthrough, he was ready to make his recommendations. Mac recommended two of our products that he believed would fix the problem. First, Mac informed the homeowner he wanted to use our WaterGuard, a unique below-floor French drain that sits atop the footing of the home's foundation. This placement allows the drain to stay out of the "mud zone" where other drains of this nature tend to clog. It works to catch water entering through holes and cracks and the floor, giving it a channel to flow to the appropriate disposal site, which in this case, Mac wanted to be our TripleSafe sump pump. Lastly, they replaced the concrete, The WaterGuard now properly drains water to the sump pump, which then discharges it from the home.
