Jennifer E. in Rochester, MN had water leaking into her basement. She was concerned about the damage that it was causing to her home and she was worried that their air quality was compromised, so she contacted American Waterworks to receive a free estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Mike Radosevich, to her home to inspect her basement and design a solution. Mike worked closely with Jennifer to create the right waterproofing plan for her home. Jennifer liked the proposal that Mike presented to her, so she scheduled the installation.
Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement. Then, they installed a SuperSump sump pump and our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the wall. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump and from there, the sump pump pushes the water through the discharge line and expels it from the home. Our waterproofing system is backed by a lifetime warranty, so Jennifer has peace of mind that she chose the right solution to protect her basement for the long-term.

Ellen T. in Rochester, MN was suffering from a wet basement. She had an older home, and the foundation leaked every time it rained. She contacted American Waterworks, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Chad Johnson, to meet with her and develop a plan that would fit her needs. Ellen approved of the products and the waterproofing design, and she moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Dylon VanCanneyt, and his production crew removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement to make a trench for the 160 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump in the corner, and our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls. Lastly, they filled back the gaps with rock, replaced the concrete, and cleaned up their work area. Water is now properly guided through the WaterGuard to the TripleSafe, and from there, it is expelled from the home. Ellen is thrilled with the results, and glad she made the investment to protect her home!
Brian B.'s foundation walls were starting to bow and crack, and he wanted to get them pulled back to their natural position. They worked with American Waterworks for the repairs. Our Design Specialist, Jesse, proposed our Wall Anchor System, which is our most versatile foundation repair system because it solves a variety of foundation problems. Our Foreman, Tremaine, and his crew installed four of our wall anchors along the foundation wall. This wall anchor system permanently stabilizes foundation walls by anchoring the walls to the compacted soil, enabling the wall to straighten back to its natural position.

A customer from Rochester, MN gave us a call when she began to notice the concrete walkway leading up to her front door was beginning to sink. She feared that if the issue was left unchecked, it could create a dangerous tripping hazard and cost more down the line to fix. When she contacted us we set her up with our FREE estimate, which entitles the customer to a FREE no-obligations estimate and thorough inspection of the issue. Once the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, Jarrett, headed out to the property to assess the issue. Once he completed his walkthrough, he informed the homeowner that she was experiencing sinkage because the soil underneath the slab of concrete was shrinking. He went on to say this could be caused by excess water washing the soil away, extreme heat drying it out, or that the soil was poorly compacted when the home was first built. He suggested that she let us fix the issue by using our PolyLevel lifting and leveling solution. She agreed and work began shortly after.
Our PolyLevel crew, Troy and Cory, began the process by strategically drilling holes into the problem concrete slab. Next, they inserted the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam that expands as it hardens. Once the slab was lifted back to the original position, our customer was happy to know that her concrete wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon!
