Susan contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair concerned about black mold in the crawl space of her home in Bunnlevel, NC. She also had a moisture issue with standing water, falling insulation and rotting wood. SEFR inspector Justin Edwards met with Susan to go over the crawl space of her home. Justin found that Susan's problems were coming from the earth's ground and open vents allowing water to enter the area. Our crew installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System, sealing off the vents, laying down the durable CleanSpace Liner, adding a dehumidifier and SmartSump sump pump system. This crawl space was damp and musty The high humidity levels damaged the walls and insulation. Using our CleanSpace vapor barrier system, we encapsulated the space and installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to remove excess moisture.

This crawl space in Erwin, NC was a nasty, mold ridden mess. Our crew was able to transform the crawl space by installing the CleanSpace Encapsulation System, they installed the 10 mil CleanSpace Liner, SilverGlo Insulation Panels, SaniDry Sedona and a SmartSump to get rid of any moisture in the crawl space that can cause mold and wood rot. They also used the Mold-X 2 Mold Spray to get rid of existing mold on the crawl space of the home.
