This basement had an older waterproofing system that needed replaced, so we did just that. Seen is WaterGuard under the wet concrete as well as a SuperSump sump pump.
This basements old waterproofing system wasn't working for the customer so they called us to redo it. Their system had trenches dug around the perimeter of the interior of the basement, but no drains in the trenches. The trenches were also not covered up at all. This was exposing moisture into their basement, which kind of defeats the purpose of a waterproofing system. We installed WaterGuard drains in the existing trenches, filled up their old sump pump hole with concrete, and installed a TripleSafe sump pump with a UltraSump 4 battery back up, and installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumdifier.
This home had a crawl space that was leaking water all along the floor and walls. In order to waterproof, we first encapsulated the crawlspace by laying down our CleanSpace liner everywhere. This seals out water, dirt, and other things from the crawlspace. We also installed a SmartSump sump pump which is able to take all the water that the CleanSpace directs towards the pump, and shoot it away from the home. Our services were rendered helpful, the customer said they have never seen the crawlspace that dry when it rained.
This homeowner wanted an egress window in their basement because they had a teenager who wanted to build a bedroom in their basement to live in. An egress window provides safety as an emergency exit from the room as well as a great natural light source.
This customer was building an extension of the home and they had the foundation built. The customer knew they wanted to waterproof the crawl space the right way the first time. A smart investment if you ask us. We encapsulated the crawl space with our Clean Space liner and matting. We then placed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier on top of the CleanSpace for added moisture wicking support.
