This house had a huge basement that was finished with bathrooms, dry wall, furniture, a gym, and storage areas. Water was seeping in through the floors and base of the walls so the customer knew something had to be done about it. We prepared the basement by cutting the dry wall, moving objects away from the walls, and by placing plastic over objects to save them from dust. We installed two TripleSafe sump pumps on opposite sides of the basement, along with 287 feet of WaterGuard drainage.
A Russellville, Ohio homeowner was having problems with water seeping into the basement. We recommended a WaterGuard basement waterproofing system and a SuperSump sump pump to be installed. WaterGuard is an interior under the floor drainage system, which is installed around the perimeter of the foundation walls to intercept water that seeps into the basement. The water will then be drained into the SuperSump sump pump System. The SuperSump has a 1/3HP cast iron pump that can pump 2,650 gallons of water an hour at an eight foot head. The WaterWatch alarm sounds if the water reaches too high and the pump hasn't yet turned on. This will alert the homeowner that there is a problem with the system. The SuperLiner sump liner is a rugged, heavy-duty liner that will not crack or cave in, and has 96 holes to allow water to flow in from below the floor. It also features a "pump ring" that centers the pump in the liner to prevent the switch from hanging up on the sidewalls. It also has an air tight lid that will keep water moisture from seeping back into the basement. The lid is also so strong you can stand on it. With the WaterGuard intercepting the water and the sump pumping it out of the basement, this homeowner will be able to use the basement without worrying about water intrusion.
This crawl space in Greenville, Ohio was not doing a great job at locking out moisture, which was resulting in problems. We assessed the problem and provided them with our solution consisting of CleanSpace encapsulation, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and our SmartPump in case of plumbing leaks. The result is a beautiful crawlspace that is also incredibly healthy.
A customer of ours had a huge crack in their basement wall that lead to water seeping into their basement. Our FlexiSpan product is a great solution for this type of problem. Instead of just closing the crack with some type of sealant and expecting it to hold together, (it wont) we use a three part system to make sure water never bursts through any time soon. First a flexible sealant is poured into the crack. Next, a foam strip is placed alongside the crack which helps the water flow into a drainage system, (or a hole dug in the floor). Lastly, another sealant is adhered over the foam strip and a nice finished look is the result.
This basement had a bowing wall that was shifting horizontally. Horizontally shifting walls are something that needs to be fixed because if ignored, the wall can cave in. In order to fix the problem, we install a PowerBrace as well as BrightWall paneling. The wall is a lot better structurally as well as cosmetically.
To ensure professional installation and superior service we carefully created an international network of over 350 trusted basement contractors.
