Lyle L. called Fortress Foundation Solutions after noticing musty smells coming from his crawl space. After investigating, he discovered mildew and moisture beginning to damage his wooden floor joists and falling down, moisture-saturated insulation. The plastic he had tried to put down inside the space was not keeping the moisture under control. System Designer Jamey Elder met with Lyle, inspected his crawl space and provided a free estimate for an encapsulation. Soon Warren Dickerson and his crew were onsite installing drainage matting, SilverGlo insulation and CleanSpace vapor barrier. The CleanSpace keeps out moisture and the SilverGlo insulates to keep the home warm in winter and cool in the summer. Lyle has now protected his most important asset - his home!

A homeowner in Hamilton, VA had easy access to their crawl space for storage. However, musty smells and overwhelming moisture limited items they could store. This customer called in with haste to get his crawlspace encapsulated, so he didn't have to waste that space.  System Designer, Skylar Beverage, who specifically loves inspecting crawl spaces, went out to the property. He came up with the solution to use our Clean Space Vapor Barrier System with Silver Go Installation on the walls to keep the crawl space a dry and controlled area. 

This Appomattox, VA home had an issue with drafty floors and rodents entering the structure and needed a solution to prevent further damage.

Our Systems Design Specialst, Jamey Elder quickly cam to evaluate the situation. He concluded that the crawl space would need a CleanSpace Liner and Foam insulation along the rim joist. With a plan in place, Cole Mauck and his production team came to the home to start the project. 

CleanSpace Liner was placed in the crawl space and mechanically fastened to the walls and applied foam to the outer band of the space.
