This crawl space had tons of ground water leakage, which was adding to the moisture issues it was experiencing. To fix this, we installed our waterproofing system and then encapsulated the crawl space. We waterproofed by digging trenches around the interior perimeter of the crawl space, and then installing perforated pipes in the trenches. We then backfilled the pipe filled trenches with gravel. We then hooked the pipes up to a SmartSump sump pump, which is also hooked up to a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. After waterproofing, we installed drainage matting over the floor of the crawl space with CleanSpace lining over top. The result is a clean, dry crawl space.
This crawl space had ground water leaking from just underneath the floor. We installed a perimeter drainage system consisting of perforated pipes placed in trenches backfilled with gravel, all connected to a SmartSump sump pump. We then installed drainage matting and CleanSpace liner over the floor of the crawl space. We then hooked up a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to the pump. We also insulated with SilverGlo panels over the CleanSpace on the walls.
Do you have a musty crawl space? Some people think they can tough it out with, "just the musty smells" but there are many more problems with a musty crawl space than the smells. Your crawl space will eat away at itself and the wood will rot. It's better to fix the musty smells right away than to try and tough it out until the wood rots, then you have to just fix it anyways.
In 2017, our trusted team visited a home in Bagdad, KY, for a foundation check, and honesty led us to reassure the homeowner their foundation was stable, saving them from unnecessary work. By 2024, their priority shifted to a chilly crawl space. As seen in the photo, we transformed this vital but overlooked space from cold and uninviting to a warm, energy-efficient area using our CleanSpace encapsulation, SilverGlow insulation, and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Remarkably, comfort and peace of mind were restored, showcasing our commitment to lasting solutions and unparalleled customer journeys.
This home in Versailles, Kentucky had a cinder block support system in their crawl space that was becoming compromised. We replaced this system with a new SmartJack system. The SmartJack is a high-capacity adjustable steel pier designed to stop settling and even potentially raise the floor back to where it was.
