A family in Marine City, MI was renting their home to another family member. This tennant had gone into the crawl space and quickly became aware of a burst pipe along one of the walls. There were puddles throughout the crawl space and the insulation had been damaged as well. The family wanted to have the home evaluated by a professional for things like mold and wood damage. One of the senior project managers, Zach, inspected the entirety of the crawl space and returned to the family. He shared the unfortunate news that the mold had compromised the integrity of the wood in the crawl space, including the main beam. A family in Linden, MI moved into their brand new home in 2017. The house had been built in 2016 making them the first homeowners. Things were fine until they noticed the drywall had developed cracks. They fixed the cracks but were frustrated when more appeared later on. After removing the damaged drywall, several cracked and damaged walls were discovered as well. The walls were deflecting inward and there was some shearing. This homeowner wanted to repair her basement and never have to worry about it again.
