These Duluth, MN homeowners reached out to DBS for help with their home's failing crawl space. The support beams were sinking and foundation walls were shifting. 

Director of Sales Royce Bunn visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate and created a plan to replace for long-lasting foundation support. DBS Foreman Kevin Steffey and his production crew installed our SmartJack® system to lift the sinking ceiling, as well as 11 PowerBrace™ support beams along the perimeter of the crawl space to permanently stabilize and restore the foundation walls.

This home in Two Harbors, MN was in serious trouble when the homeowners reached out to DBS. The basement walls were cracked and severely bowing with sagging floors on the main level of the home. 

DBS Design Specialist, Nathan Schroeder went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. After inspecting the property, Nathan recommended utilizing PowerBrace™ wall support beams in combination with SmartJack® support beams to stabilize the foundation and flooring of this home. Increased soil pressure overtime was the cause of structural damage to these walls. The soil around the home was excavated to reduce pressure on the home before stabilization occurred. This home was permanently stabilized by DBS Foreman, Tyler Nancy, and his production crew. 

This home is now healthy, safe, and comfortable with a permanent stabilization system!

Homeowners in Duluth, MN reached out to DBS for help repairing the foundation of their homes. Their basement egress window was sloping and their walls were cracked and bowing.

DBS Design Specialist, James Miller went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. After inspecting the basement, James discovered that increasing soil pressure was the cause of foundational problems for this home. His recommendation was to excavate soil outside the home to reduce inward pressure and stabilize the egress window. PowerBrace™ wall support beams were installed to permanently stabilize the bowing foundation walls. This home was permanently stabilized by DBS foreman Zach Royer and his production crew.

Homeowners in Mondovi, WI had lived in this home for 15 years. They knew that the basement would consistenty leak in a few areas from the foundation. Fearful that the water issue would only get worse, causing mold and other damage to the basement, they contacted DBS. 

DBS Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the foundation support and a waterproofing system. DBS Production Manager Kevin Steffey was the foreman on the job. He and his crew installed our WaterGuard® french drain system along the perimeter of the basement. This system directs all the moisture to a new TripleSafe™ sump pump. 

In order to combat addtional humidity in the basement, the crew also connected a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier to the sump pump. This will pull moisture out of the basement, keeping humidity levels consistent. 

The installation was successful and provided a solid solution to pooling water in the basement!

Homeowners in Ashland, WI noticed that cracks in their foundation were worsening. Quite of bit of water was reaching the basement, causing mildew and undesirable conditions after rains and spring thawing. After meeting DBS at the Ashland home show, they reached out to us is hopes of a permanent solution. 

DBS Sales Manager Royce Bunn was the Design Specilist for this project and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the foundation support system. It was determined that our GeoLock™ Wall Anchor System would be installed.

DBS Foreman Kevin Steffey and his production crew installed our GeoLock™ Wall Plates and Earth Anchors to the failing foundation wall. This system uses the heavy-duty anchors in and connects them to plates on the wall interior wall. Connected with long, galvanized rods, these anchors are tightened to straighten the wall over time and provide maximum support.  

These homeowners were happy with the work done and now have a safe and dry basement to enjoy!
