A homeowner in Nashua, New Hampshire, had lived in their home for about a year before they started to notice water coming into the basement during rain storms. The home has a finished basement and the homeowners would like to find a way to protect it. They reached out to EFS for a free inspection of their basement and our Design Specialist examined the space and found a solution to prevent water from entering the basement. We recommended installing a perimeter drainage system to collect any water and pump it out of the basement. Our installation team installed the system and was able to eliminate the water concerns in the basement.
A homeowner in Nashua, New Hampshire recently bought a new furnace and wanted to waterproof the basement to protect it. The homeowner also wanted to use the basement area for storage, and insisted on making sure that the belongings would be kept safe. Our team was happy to evaluate the situation and offer a permanent solution to the problem.
Our Design Specialist recommended installing a full waterproofing system, composed of our TripleSafe sump pump, WaterGuard perimeter drainage system, and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The WaterGuard drainage system can be seen in the attached after photo. This system is installed at the perimeter of the foundation and safely collects water before entering the basement. The system then delivers the water to the sump pump. The sump pump then disposes the water out of the home through an exterior drainage line. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier is installed to keep moisture out of the basement and provide a comfortable and healthy climate.
With these systems working together, a fully waterproofed basement is created. The new furnace, along with all the other belongings in the basement, will be kept dry and protected.
A homeowner in Nashua, New Hampshire, had repeatedly faced flooding in her finished basement, resulting in water damage. The flooding of the children's bedrooms was particularly alarming due to safety concerns. Seeking a lasting resolution instead of spending on temporary repairs and replacements, the homeowner contacted Erickson Foundation Solutions.
Our Design Specialist, Josh Phillips, conducted a complimentary home inspection. He observed that the existing sump pump system failed to capture all the water seeping through the basement's perimeter. Josh suggested adding WaterGuard perimeter drainage and TrenchDrain surface drainage to the homeowner's current sump pump setup. This would ensure that water along the basement's edge is collected and directed to the sump basin. Despite our advice to install our TripleSafe sump pump to manage the substantial water influx, the homeowner was satisfied with their existing pump. Our installation crew installed WaterGuard and TrenchDrain along the entire perimeter of the basement, giving the finished space full protection.
Upon completion of the installation process, the basement was fully waterproofed. The homeowner was delighted, enjoying the assurance that their children had a secure area and that the value of their property was enhanced.

Plus, we installed our WaterGuard, TripleSafe Sump Pump, and IceGuard systems to reliably dispel water, ensuring a dry and comfortable living space. A homeowner in Wayland, Massachusetts was concerned about their radon level in the home. Just having a newborn baby, this family wanted to take all the measures to ensure their home was safe. They trusted Erickson Foundation Solutions to ensure the safety of their home.
Our Design Specialist, Mark Proctor, visited the home to conduct a free home inspection. Upon inspection, Mark noticed that the existing sump pump in the home had stopped working and was leaking water. This created concern for mold growth, as well as potential basement flooding. Learning this new information, the homeowners decided to prioritize waterproofing the basement. Mark recommended installing our TripleSafe sump pump system. This system works better than a single sump pump due to the three high quality pumps all in one system. This system sits in a basin and pumps out all the water that comes into it. The first pump disposes of water at a normal rate of 1/3 horsepower. A second pump is activated at 1/2 horsepower in situations where heavy rains or melting occurs. Lastly, a third battery backup pump operates in the event of an emergency such as a power outage.
With this updated and upgraded sump pump system, this family can have peace of mind that their basement will be safe and dry. A great home starts with a strong foundation!
