They decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist recommended encapsulating the crawlspace in the basement with CleanSpace.

This homeowner in Sudbury, Massachusetts, purchased their 80-year-old home in 2019. When they purchased the home, the inspector noted in their inspection that the vapor barrier in the crawlspace should be replaced. The homeowner didn't have the money at that time but a couple of years later they decided to call EFS for a free inspection. We inspected the crawlspace and confirmed that the vapor barrier should be replaced, but our Design Specialist also noticed that the floor system was sagging and should be stabilized. Our team recommended installing a TripleSafe sump pump system, WaterGuard perimeter drainage, and CleanSpace vapor barrier. This waterproofing system is designed to keep water out of the basement by capturing it along the border of the foundation before entering the home, and then filtering it to the sump pump.
