Before & After Photos

This before and after is a great example of how important a proper escape for water is for any home. The Guilford homeowner had a WaterGuard System and SuperSump Pump installed and the after photo shows the final step in completing the installation. The WaterGuard channels water that would have entered the home into the SuperSump Pump. The sump pump then directs the water outside the home by leading it through a discharge line, through an Ice Guard (the white item you see attached to the house in the photos) and then through the LawnScape. A LawnScape (the green item in the after photo) is the last product that comes in contact with the water and distributes the water into the ground. Without this item, the water would not have a proper escape route. The gravel, as seen in the after photo, allows the water to filter through instead of immediately seeping into the ground. The transformation of the area is incredible! 

Before we arrived at this Guilford home, there was a severe crack in the basement wall. This crack was not only unappealing, but water was actually seeping through the crack causing water to enter the basement. The homeowner was concerned for her basement and wanted a solution. This homeowner also decided to have this product installed which is what is under the wet pavement in the after photo. This allows the water to have a proper escape route from the wall.

Before we went to this Guilford home, the crawlspace was cold, damp, and had a smelly odor. The homeowners were concerned and wanted a solution to make sure that their crawlspace was in tip top shape. They decided to give Connecticut Basement Systems a call.

A CleanSpace, WaterGuard, and SuperSump pump were installed by Garfield Sanderson and his production crew. The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier will help prevent moisture from entering the basement which will ultimately keep the area dry. The WaterGuard System will channel into the SuperSump pump and discharge it away from the home. There was also Spray Foam installed on the walls to completely air seal the crawlspace to ensure that no air flow will enter the crawlspace. The combination of all these products satisfied all of the homeowner’s needs where the crawlspace was dry and the odor decreased.
