This Old Greenwich basement had reoccurring water issues. Clearly, part of that problem was caused by an insufficient sump pump. The homeowner wanted a solution to keep his basement dry all year around. After doing some research, he decided that Connecticut Basement Systems was the best company to help with his basement needs.
Krzystof and his production crew installed a SuperSump pump and a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier as seen in the after photo. What a transformation from the before photo! The SuperSump has a powerful Zoeller 1/3 horsepower sump pump which has the ability to pump 2,220 gallons of water away from the basement! The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier prevents water seepage entering the basement through the walls.
With the combination of these two products, this Old Greenwich homeowner can enjoy a dry basement all year around!

A homeowner located in Old Greenwich, CT expressed concerns regarding her basement's ability to mitigate moisture. She reached out to Connecticut Basement Systems to schedule a free in-home consultation, making contact with Sales Representative Mick Foster.
Once Foster arrived at the home, he inspected the basement to determine the best possible solutions for the homeowner. Afterwards, he provided the homeowner with a proposal documenting potential solutions, including a TripleSafe sump pump system, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and WaterGuard perimeter drain.
With the proposal approved by the homeowner, Foreman Joe Schech and his team arrived on-site to begin the installation process. Now, the systems installed offer maximum protection against unwanted moisture!
A homeowner in Pound Ridge, NY was getting water in their basement that was causing damage and leaving a muddy mess. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems and set an appointment with one of our Sales Consultants, Rick Raucci. Rick went out to the home to assess the issues and provide them with a proper solution for their basement needs.
Once everything was approved, it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Garfield Sanderson, and his crew to install the job. They installed WaterGuard drains below the floor (under the new concrete) so that any water coming in from the walls or floor around the entire perimeter of the basement, will get collected and led into the sump pump. Then they installed one of our TripleSafe sump pumps, which would take that collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. This pump works with 3 different pumps and is our most reliable sump pump system. The team even installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls of the basement to protect from moisture and ensure any water coming from the walls gets directed into the drainage system. Now this basement will stay dry permanently and the homeowner never needs to worry about water in their basement again.
This is a great example of an upgraded sump pump system! With an insufficient sump pump, water is more than likely to enter the basement and leave its presence with a musty odor and an unwelcoming environment. Wanting a solution for an upgraded sump pump system, the homeowner decided to call the experts at CT Basement Systems!

Before, this basement had water seeping through the walls and from the window. You can see the discoloration on the walls where the water was an issue. The homeowner wanted a solution and decided to call the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.
The solution for this basement was to install a WaterGuard system along with a CleanSpace liner. The WaterGuard system will collect water internally and channel it to the sump pump system. The CleanSpace liner was installed on the walls to prevent air and moisture from leaking through the walls. Not only is this liner practical, but it gives a clean, fresh look to the area. This is exactly what the homeowner wanted and was pleased with the results.
