Our System Design Specialist came out and took a good look at this family's basement. He quickly knew just what they needed. They sent out Tony Dilonardo to the house, where his team went ahead and installed our ThermalDry Flooring Tiles in Canyon Beige. These flooring tiles completely transform your basement, and come in all colors and designs in the same 12 inch, square-shaped, snap together design. These tiles are strong, durable, and immune to moisture damage. For a home closer to the water like this one, they're a perfect option. The underside of each ThermalDry tile features construction that creates a drainage plane, as well as a thermal break to shield your feet from the cold concrete floor.

Before, this Shelton home had a water problem in the basement. Water would seep through the wall and floors, causing dark water marks on the wall and a mess of water to clean up. The homeowner wanted a healthy, dry basement. After doing a thorough internet search, he trusted the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems to provide a solution for his basement.
The solution was to install a WaterGuard system paired with a SuperSump pump and CleanSpace liner. The WaterGuard system is installed internally around the perimeter of the basement, where it collects water before it enters the area. The water will be channeled to the SuperSump pump where it will be discharged away from the home. The CleanSpace liner that is applied to the wall will prevent any water or moisture seepage from coming through the wall. Not to mention it gives the basement a clean, fresh look. The homeowner was pleased with the results of his dry basement!
A homeowner in Shelton, CT was getting water in their basement and needed a system that would keep their basement completely dry all the time. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us solve their problem. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Doug Wheeler, went out to the home to assess the issues and provide a proposal for work they would need to waterproof the entire basement.
Then it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Al Guglielmoni, and his crew to work on the installation. They began by installing our WaterGuard drain system around the entire perimeter of the basement. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump in the lowest point of the basement. These two systems work together to collect any water coming in from the floors or walls and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. Now this basement will stay dry all the time!
Here we have a basement that had water problems and a previously existing pump system that not longer was doing it's job in Litchfield, CT. After Installing our Super Sump Pump to replacae the old pump system, this basement is on it's way to a dry future!

Once approved, it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Al Guglielmoni, and his crew to install this job. They installed one of our SuperSump Plus sump pumps that would collect water coming in from the bottom of the stairs and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. They installed an XL TrenchDrain at the foot of the basement stairs, so any water coming in from there, would get directed into the sump pump. Now this basement won't get water because anything coming in goes right to the sump pump.
