A homeowner in Wolcott, CT was getting water in their basement and decided to call us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us come out and solve their problem. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Mick Foster, went out to the home to assess the issues and propose a solution.

Once a proper solution was proposed, it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Al Guglielmoni, and his crew to tackle this project. They installed a WaterGuard perimeter drain system below the floor. This will collect any water that may come in through the walls or floors. They also installed a SuperSump Plus sump pump. This will take that collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance through a proper discharge line. Now this basement will stay dry and they will get no more water damage! 

This Hamden, CT home was experiencing severe water seepage through cracks in the wall, despite the owner's attempts to seal it himself. The second photo shows the installation process for our CleanSpace vapor barrier, which can hold back water passing through your foundation walls, and the WaterGuard drainage system, which reditects the water it to the sump pump. 

Our team just put the finishing touches on this waterproofing job. After covering the foundation with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, they installed the WaterGuard below-floor drain around the perimiter of the room. When the cement dries over the drain, the owners of this home will have a dry basement for years to come!
