A homeowner in Hamden, CT was getting in their basement due to heavy rains. They reached out to us at Connecticut Basement Systems and we sent out one of our Sales Consultants, Jimmy Stablein, to the home to assess the issues and provide a permanent solution. 

One of our Foremen, Delfino Mones, and his crew installed this project. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement, below the floor to collect the water coming in from the floors or walls. Then they installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump to take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. These systems work together to ensure this basement stays dry all the time, giving the homeowner peace of mind!

Upon calling, the homeowners made contact with Sales Representative Tim Kane. Kane visited the home, providing a free in-home consultation. Once the consultation was complete, he drafted a formal proposal, offering solutions to the homeowner's concerns such as a CleanSpace vapor barrier and DryTrak system.

With the proposal accepted by the homeowner, Foreman Antonio Diaz and his team arrived on-site to begin work. Following a quick install, the crawl space was returned to the homeowner's protected against further moisture!

A homeowner in Hamden, CT expressed interest in waterproofing his basement. Experiencing issues with water in a particular corner in his basement, he decided to take action. Reaching out Connecticut Basement Systems, the homeowner made contact with Sales Representative Don Godbout, scheduling a free in-home consultation.

On the day of the consultation, Godbout arrived at the home and began sketching out the basement. Discussing with the homeowner, a proposal was drafted, tailored to the needs of the homeowner.

Shortly after, Foreman Joe Schech and his team arrived on-site. Ultimately, a SuperSump Plus sump pump system with CleanSpace vapor barrier and a WaterGuard perimeter drain was installed. Working together, these three systems eliminate unwanted moisture, expelling it to a safe location outside the home. Now, the homeowner will have peace of mind regarding their basement's waterproofing abilities!

Before, this New Hartford basement had a lot of water and moisture problems. This frustrated the homeowners and they wanted to find a solution. They decided to reach out to the experts to help find a permanent solution.  

Now, the basement is waterproofed thanks to our patented WaterGuard product. This below the ground system internally collects water and channels it to a sump pump system. From there, the water is discharged away from the home. The walls of this basement were also seeping water and to solve this problem, CleanSpace liner was installed (as you can see in the after photo). Any water that would seep through the wall will be directed to the WaterGuard system. To keep humidity low in the area and to obtain an overall healthier environment, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed. Now, the homeowner is satisfied with a dry and comfortable basement!

After scheduling an appointment with us, one of our Sales Consultants, Mick Foster, went out to the home to meet with the customer. He assessed the issues they were having and provided them with an estimate for a solution. 

The next step would be for one of our Foremen, Moises Chantes, and his team to work on the installation of this job. They installed our perimeter WaterGuard drain system. This gets installed below the floor and then covered with concrete to ensure that any water coming in from the walls or floors gets collected. Then they installed a SuperSump Plus sump pump into the lowest point in the basement. This will take any water collected from the WaterGuard and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. They also installed a partial wall of CleanSpace vapor barrier. Now this basement will stay dry whenever it rains.
