A homeowner in Plainville, CT expressed concerns regarding her basement's rapid increase in water. Despite having a sump pump system, large pools of water were visible within the space. In need of an expert, she decided to reach out to Connecticut Basement Systems to schedule a free in-home consultation.

Upon calling, the homeowner made contact with Sales Representative Mark Krasnickas. Krasnickas arrived at the home, immediately sketching a map of the basement and writing notes on potential solutions. Once complete, he passed off his proposal to the homeowner, who approved of the plans.

With the plans approved, Foreman Luis Alas and his team arrived on-site to begin the installation process. Installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier and WaterGuard French drain system around the perimeter, the basement would be much more protected against unwanted moisture. This moisture, collected along the walls, is channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump system and expelled at a safe distance from the home.

With the install complete, the homeowner felt a sense of relief. The combination of waterproofing systems installed made the homeowner confident in her basement's ability to mitigate unwanted moisture!

We installed a WaterGuard System, around the perimeter of the basement to collect water internally. The water is then channeled to a sump pump where it is discharged away from the home. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Steve Machnicz, went to the home to assess the issues and propose our systems as a solution. 

Then it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Moises Chantes, and his crew to work on this project. As another layer of protection, they installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier along the whole basement walls to keep any moisture out and lead any water coming from the walls into the WaterGuard. These three products will work together to keep this basement dry. As a finishing touch, our crew installed Sandstone tile around the basement to give the basement floor a nice look! 

This East Hartland basement was dirty, let in a lot of moisture, and was an unhealthy environment. This was not what the homeowner had wanted and desired a basement that was clean and healthy. She did her research and decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems to help find her a solution.

The solution for this basement was to install a WaterGuard system, a CleanSpace liner, and a Sanidry Sedona. The WaterGuard system will collect water from any wall leaks before it even enters the basement and brings it to a sump pump that will properly discharge the water away from the area. A CleanSpace liner will prevent any moisture from seeping through the walls or floors. Lastly, the Sanidry Sedona will keep humidity low ensuring that air quality is at its best. With all of these products installed, the basement was completely transformed into a beautiful, clean environment. This is exactly what the homeowner wanted and was thrilled with the results. 

Water used to seep through the wall-floor joint of this Avon, CT garage every time it rained. To fix this, we installed out WaterGuard perimeter drain.
