Before, this Avon home was uninviting and cold where the homeowner could not enjoy this part of her home. The homeowener wanted to utilize her basement to its fullest potential and she knew finishing the basement would do just that. After doing her research and seeing our advertisement, she decided to trust the experts at Total Basement Finishing, a division of CT Basement Systems.

After completing the project, the basement was transformed into a beautiful and functional space. As seen in the after photo, the walls and ceiling were finished. We installed our EverLast wall panels. The benefits to these panels are that they are strong, durable and waterproof! They also look great in any basement. We also installed our ceiling tiles to make the basement completely finished. The transformation is incredible and the homeowner can now enjoy a bright and finished basement! 

Before, this Avon, CT basement had an open space where the stairs connected to the Bilco door. Not only was this an eyesore, but it would let in an uncomfortable draft, welcome critters to the basement, and allow water seepage to the space. The homeowner wanted a dry, pleasant basement in order to sell his home. 

The solution we provided was to install a full perimeter WaterGuard system paired with TrenchDrains and a TripleSafe sump pump. In addition, our Total Basement Finishing door was installed. A warrantied door will help prevent the uncomfortable drafts, water from entering the space and deter critters, too! With this dry and pleasant basement, the homeowner was able to sell his home within two months.

Before, this Avon, CT basement had no rim joist insulation in their basement. With no insulation in the rim joists, unwanted drafts and water seepage can enter the space. Our solution was to install Spray Foam to the rim joists. The advantages to our Spray Foam are its superior R-value, complete coverage, effective air barrier and is waterproof. The homeowner was very pleased, and his investment paid off when he was able to sell his home within two months!
