These Charlotte, MI residents were experiencing water seepage through the poured walls in their crawlspace and were concerned about mold growth.

We installed our patented CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system. CleanSpace is a 20mm thick plastic lining that completely seals off the crawl space from the elements below. No more water or cold air can enter the crawl space with this installment. In this home in Charlotte you can tell the crawl space was not an area these homeowners visted often. There's a dirt floor and insulation hanging, I mean let's be honest what would be the point of going down there. We were however, able to revive this space and make it usable to the owners. We have never understood the point of a dirt floor in a crawl space, you wouldn't use dirt for your basement floor so why is your crawl space any different. Also when that fiberglass insulation gets moisture in it, it will become heavy and fall. We can fix all of this with CleanSpace though.

Carol has no issues in her crawl space except for all of the junk and debris. In case the intrusion of water was to happen, the matting has dimples to give water a channel to flow through and find its way to the sump pump. The customer called because their crawl space had all of the usual problems - smelly, damp, making the floors above it cold - but they were concerned that it was too small to really be able to fix it.

While it's true that the access point and crawl space were only about two feet high, that's plenty of room for us! Just make sure to let us know in advance and we will send one of our smaller guys. It was no problem to install the CleanSpace vapor barrier system and we even put a new, better door on the crawl space.
