A homeowner in Cannon Falls, MN requested that American Waterworks check their crawlspace for the presence of Radon after reading up on the side effects of this toxic gas.

 After receiving the news that their test came back at 8.4 pCi/L, the Shepards decided it was best to encapsulate their crawlspace with a vapor barrier known as CleanSpace.

The CleanSpace barrier will block most of the movement of radon from the soil into the crawlspace and our radon mitigation system will reduce any of the remaining presence of the gas that is entering through cracks in the foundation, plumbing, etc.

Our production team installed CleanSpace, Terra Block, SilverGlo, rim joist insulation around the perimeter of the crawl space, a SaniDry dehumidifier and a SmartDrain sump pump. This combination of crawl space waterproofing products ensures that Lisa is now protected from any water or critters coming in. Her crawl space is now a dry, clean and healthy space.

A homeowner in Hudson, WI contacted us after deciding to cleanup his crawlspace where his HVAC system was housed.  The crawlspace is now more energy efficient and free of any debris, allergens, and most importantly, moisture.

Next, Jeromy and his crew installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation Moisture Barrier throughout the entire crawl space. The purpose of this moisture barrier is to keep the crawl space dry, protect the structure, and prevent mold and rot. The installation took a few days, but Jon and Amy had a wonderful experience and could not believe the transformation from start to finish!
