Thomas F. in Farmington, MN was suffering from the burden of a wet crawl space. He was concerned that their air quality was compromised and that the water was going to start causing damage to their home. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Chad Johnson, to his home to give him a FREE estimate. Chad developed a plan for our team to permanently waterproof his crawl space. Shortly after, a date was set for our team to install our waterproofing system.

Our production crew laid Terra Block matting on the entire dirt floor, a SmartDrain sump pump, and then installed CleanSpace over the top of it and along the walls. We also sprayed our rim joist insulation to protect his entire crawl space. Thomas was so happy with the work we did, and he has peace of mind that his crawl space is protected. His crawl space is now a clean, healthy space that will remain that way for years to come.

Marsha Z. in Stillwater, MN had moisture in her crawl space. She was concerned that her air quality was being compromised, so she got in touch with American Waterworks to receive a free estimate. Shortly after she contacted us, one of our Design Specialists, Shane Nephew, went onsite to inspect her crawl space. He developed a plan to seal off her basement permanently from the ground by using CleanSpace and drainage matting.

Our Foreman, Jared Wroblewski, and his crew installed the CleanSpace and drainage matting which is now preventing humidity and pests from entering her home. Now that Marsha's crawl space is permanently separated from the earth, she can enjoy a healthier home and even lower energy costs. 

Caitlin, a resident of Waldorf, MN, realized that her crawl space needed some attention. Crawl space insulation is important, as a number of comfort and energy problems are caused by inadequate or incorrect crawl space insulation. Specifically, with musty smells, mold, and moisture issues, Caitlin decided she needed to call American Waterworks for a FREE Estimate. Our Design Specialist, Eric, headed to the property to inspect the crawl space.

Following the inspection, Eric made his recommendations and answered all questions, and an appointment was made to implement solutions.

Our Foreman and his crew began the project by clearing debris and readying the spaces for installation. They then installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier to address water Issues. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic barrier that gets installed right onto the problem walls and works to catch water entering the space through cracks and holes in the wall. This also reduces the home's chances of being exposed to radon. Next the team added our SmartDrain, which helps fully waterproof the crawl space. The crew also used spray foam to seal and waterproof the homeowner's crawl space. Our spray foam is designed to keep the heat inside and prevent cool air from coming in. Finally, our team added an Aprilaire dehumidifier, which creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses in the air to less than 1% in two days when set to 50% relative humidity. Now, Caitlin's crawlspace is protected, and we improved her peace of mind.

Mary C. just moved into a new home in South Saint Paul, MN. After a couple of days, she noticed water seeping into her basement through a crack in the foundation. She saw a commercial for American Waterworks on the television and saw that we offer basement waterproofing, foundation repair, concrete repair, and radon mitigation. Our production team installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system, a TripleSafe sump pump and CleanSpace throughout the crawl space and halfway up the basement wall. The WaterGuard is a drainage system that properly drains the water to the sump pump- which then discharges the water from the home. The CleanSpace vapor barrier works to protect the basement from humidity and mold. The combination of these waterproofing products ensure that Mary’s basement will remain a clean, dry space.

Bill reached out to American Waterworks to find a solution that would permanently fix his garage and damp deteriorating walls. 

Jared, one of our Design Specialists, met with Bill to provide a FREE quote. Jared listened to Bill's questions and concerns, performed a detailed inspection, and designed a solution that met all of Bill’s needs. Bill was pleased with the proposal and scheduled the installation.
