This older existing sump pump was not pumping water out efficiently enough, so the homeowner called us to replace it with one of ours. They elected for the SuperSump, which will displace water at a much faster rate than the existing pump. It is also much quieter, more energy efficient, and more dependable.
We were able to replace this existing pump with our Triple Safe sump pump. The TripleSafe sump pump is equipped with three different pumps, a main one, a secondary one, and a battery backed one. We were also able to configure the pump to their existing discharge lines, since they were not clogged and were working just fine.
This homeowner wanted an egress window installed for their finished basement so they could finally build a bedroom down there. When installing the window, we made sure to keep their finished basement clean and protected from all the ensuing dust from cutting through their concrete wall. The new egress window will provide a safe emergency exit for anyone living down there.
This rather large crawl space was very susceptible to water leaks. Who knows how long those pools of water had been sitting there at the floor of the crawl space. Either way, we began to waterproof by installing perforated pipes in the floor of the crawl space along the perimeter. We then backfilled the pipes with gravel. After that, we hooked the pipes up to two SmartSump sump pumps, placed in opposite corners of the crawl space. Bigger crawl spaces that are susceptible to large amounts of water often need two sump pumps. We then hooked both pumps up to two Ultra Sump 4 battery backups in case of power outages or pump failures. We then installed drainage matting and CleanSpace liner all across the crawl space. The SmartSump sump pumps were built to be fitted with CleanSpace, allowing for no moisture intrusions. We then installed a dehumidifier for extra protection against any excess moisture. The pools of water are now forbidden!
This home in Troy, Ohio had a basement that was in pretty bad shape on two adjacent walls. The walls were bowing in and were leaking water. To fix this, we had a pretty big project on our hands. We did our usual WaterGuard set up connected to one of our SuperPumps, which of course had a discharge line to the outside. We also installed PowerBraces to the walls to make sure they keep from bowing in. We then placed BrightWall on the walls to make the basement look clean and to cover up the dirty walls that were stained. The result is a great looking and healthy basement.
To ensure professional installation and superior service we carefully created an international network of over 350 trusted basement contractors.
