Mr. G had water seepage in his basement and an old sump pump that was not working to eliminate the problem. He called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution. After meeting with one of our Sales Consultants, Jared Sgroi, he informed Mr. G that he needed our waterproofing systems to ensure water is eliminated for good! 

One of our Foremen, Delfino Mones, and his crew installed this job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the entire perimeter, below the floor to collect water coming in from the walls/floors. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take that water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. These systems will keep this basement dry all the time, giving the homeowner peace of mind!

One of our Sales Consultants, Steve Machnicz, went to the home to evaluate the problems and inform the homeowners of a solution we would provide. 

It would then soon be time for one of our Formen, Moises Chantes, and his crew to work on the installation of this job. Some of the key components of this job included our WaterGuard drainage system to collect water from the walls and floors and our TripleSafe sump pump to take the collected water and pump it out of the home safely. A homeowner in Old Saybrook, CT expressed concerns regarding his basement's ability to mitigate moisture. In need of an expert, he reached out to Connecticut Basement Systems to schedule a free in-home consultation.

Upon calling, the homeowner made contact with Sales Representative Matt Kraus. Once Kraus arrived at the home, he began by measuring various portions of the basement to develop an understanding of the homeowner's basement needs. Formulating a proposal tailored to the homeowner's basement, he provided information including an ample location for a sump pump system. 

With the proposal accepted, Foreman Vic Varela and his team arrived on-site to begin the installation process. Following Kraus's proposal, Varela and his team installed our WaterGuard French drain system along the perimeter and TripleSafe sump pump system. Once the install was complete, the homeowner felt much more confident in his basement's ability to mitigate unwanted moisture!

Here we installed Waterguard TrenchDrain and a SuperSump pump to remove water and prevent any further flooding.

When we arrived in this basement, we found that the existing sump pump was old and ineffective. Without a cover, dirt and debris fell into the basin and clogged the pump. In its place, we installed our SuperSump sump pump. It includes an airtight lid to keep odors and humidity out of the room, while protecting your sump from debris from the basement floor. Rubber grommets around all pipes and wires help maintain the airtight lid and also help to keep all PVC pipes steady and quiet. Additionally, The SuperSump includes a powerful Zoeller ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The owners of this home never have to worry about basement flooding again!
