A homeowner's basement in Lime Springs, IA, had flooded after an intense thunderstorm. Frantic to find a solution, the homeowners searched for basement waterproofing options closest to them. Luckily for the homeowner, they came across our Facebook page and knew we were the best choice for them. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Ryan. After Ryan arrived at the home, he started his inspection of the basement. Ryan completed the entire basement walk-through and found many waterproofing issues in the basement. After Ryan alerted the homeowner of his findings, he was able to provide them with a solution. Ryan recommended installing several waterproofing products in the basement to protect it from further intrusion. The homeowner agreed with Ryan's recommendations and the plans were finalized by the office. Once approved by the office, they were sent to our Foreman, Raul, and his crew. Raul and his crew arrived at the home and started by installing WaterGuard around the entire perimeter of the basement. Once the WaterGuard was installed, the crew took out the previous sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe Sump Pump. Next, the crew tied the TripleSafe Sump Pump into the WaterGuard system. Finally, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. As soon as all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their basement was properly waterproofed and repaired. American Waterworks is happy to provide homeowners with that peace of mind.

Our production team removed the concrete around the perimeter of his basement floor and laid our WaterGuard drainage system. Then, we installed a TripleSafe sump pump in the corner of the basement. The WaterGuard guides water to the sump pump and then the water is pumped out of the home through the discharge line. A couple from Fountain, MN got in contact with us when they began to notice that water was finding its way into their basement. Wanting to fix the issue before it could worsen, they contact our office and we set them up with our FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Josh, headed out to the property to complete his walkthrough. Once he completed his inspection, he was ready to make recommendations as to how we could help the couple transform their space. First, Josh wanted to use our CleanSpace vapor barrier. He told the couple that our CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof tarp that gets applied directly onto the basement walls experiencing leakage. It works to catch water entering through cracks and holes in the foundation, leading it down into Josh's second recommendation, our WaterGuard below-floor french drainage system. Josh said that our WaterGuard is an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. Its job is to catch water and then redirect it to the appropriate disposal site. The couple agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Kiko, and his team worked to install both products. When they finished, they installed 112ft of our WaterGuard and another 112ft of our CleanSpace throughout the basement. Now our customers can enjoy their space without thoughts of water intrusion.
