A homeowner in Manchester, New Hampshire, had purchased their home in 2021 and noticed this past year that cold drafts and moisture would enter their home. The home built in 1945 has a basement and a crawlspace below the main level of their home. The homeowner felt the cold air coming from the crawlspace. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist recommended installing CleanSpace and a SaniDry Sedona into the Crawlspace to encapsulate it and control the humidity. 

The team fully encapsulated the dirt crawlspace with CleanSpace to prevent any unwanted drafts and moisture from seeping in. After the CleanSpace was installed the team then installed a SaniDry Sedona in between the crawlspace and the basement.

Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa inspected the narrow crawlspace. Michael noticed some signs of moisture in the crawlspace but he also found early signs of mold too. Michael recommended installing Drainage Matting as a base layer of the crawlspace, then having CleanSpace installed over the Drainage Matting to seal out moisture from the crawlspace.
