This crawl space originally had a plastic vapor barrier that was dusty, dirty, and porous. With the CleanSpace Encapsulation System installed, the crawl space is now clean and dry!
This crawl space had strong musty smells emitting from it, annoying the homeowners who lived above it. They wanted the musty smells gone, lower energy bills, and a place to store items. We finished the encapsulation project by waterproofing, dehumidifying, encapsulating, and insulating. The homeowners were happy with the project and received everything they had wished for.
We gave this customer a proposal to encapsulate their crawlspace in 2020. They opted to install a sump pump by their self and chose a regular fan and dehumidifier to go along with it. In 2024, the customer chose to go with our original proposal because they felt their system was not helping take away mold and moisture. We installed CleanSpace liner, a SmartSump, perforated pipe drainage, 4 Smart Jacks posts, a supplemental beam, rim joist insulation, and a Sedona SaniDry dehumidifier. The result will give the customer peace of mind knowing that their crawl space and home are in great condition for the long haul.
This crawl space was leaking water whenever it rained. This problem became noticeable when the house started to smell musty and moldy. We waterproofed by installing CleanSpace matting liner across the entirety of the crawlspace. We also installed a Smart Sump sump pump in order to pump the water away that all the CleanSpace matting is able to trap. We also installed insulation products like rim joist insulation and SilverGlo paneling. Puddles of water in the crawl space will no longer exist.
This crawl space was emitting musty smells up to the first floor of this home. In order to stop the musty smells, we were going to have to do a full encapsulation. We encapsulate our crawl spaces with CleanSpace lining, which goes all over the floors, around the concrete piers, and partly up the walls. We then installed SilverGlo insulation on the walls which are amazing at retaining heat, helping people save money on energy bills. We then installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, which is able to remove up to 100 pints of water out the air in a day.
