Our CleanSpace walls were used to create a vapor barrier for this homeowner's crawlspace. Not only do the walls block out moisture, but they also block out bugs, critters, and the cold air. A crawlspace should be treated as an extension of your home, since it contains the air that will eventually be pulled to your living space.
Stacy owned a home in Bellevue, Kentucky, that was built in 1906. The old home had a stone foundation that leaked. Having used The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati previously, she called us and scheduled an estimate. Other companies say that stone foundations can't be waterproofed. Our foreman David however, was able to waterproof this 120-year old basement with no problems!
This home had a musty smell and bugs coming up from the crawlspace. We fixed these problems by encapsulating it with CleanSpace matting. We also installed SilverGlo insulation panels as well.
A nasty crawlspace formed by dirt, moisture, and bugs can lead to poor living conditions for the inhabitants living above the crawlspace. In order to encapsulate and reduce the risk of the crawlspace flooding we installed a lot. First we installed a vapor barrier by placing CleanSpace and drainage matting over the walls and floors. We then installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, a SmartPump sump pump on one side of the large crawlspace, and a UltraSump 4 sump pump on the other side. We topped it off with SilverGlo insulation panels, which will help save big money on energy bills.
This crawl space was exposed to the open earth resulting in issues like wood rot, moldy air, and poor insulation. We fixed these problems by encapsulating the crawl space and installing a SmartSump sump pump.
To ensure professional installation and superior service we carefully created an international network of over 350 trusted basement contractors.
