Attached Storage Shed in Laurens, SC Has WaterGuard and SuperSump Installed

Although our business mainly focuses on basements and crawlspaces, it doesn't mean we aren't able to handle different circumstances. Now technically this area was a basement, but it was extremely small, only accessible from the outside and was used as a storage shed. Regardless of what it is or what it is called, it was a part of a customer's home that was having quite a bit of water getting in, so we fixed it up for them.

The first photo shows what the area looked like when one of our System Design Specialists went out to the home. The homeowner stored a lot of different things in this attached storage area, many of which could be damaged by the moisture in the area. The homeowner wanted this problem taken care of so he didn't have to worry about any damage being done, especially to his more expensive landscaping tools like the lawnmower.

The second photo shows the same area after the customer had removed some of the items and the shelving had also been moved. More importantly this photo shows off the system that was installed in the crawlspace of the home. The CleanSpace Liner that is covering a good portion of the walls helps to catch any water that comes through the walls and drain it to the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard then drains that water to the sump pump which can be seen in in the picture. The SuperSump then takes that water and pumps it out and away from the home.

Basement Waterproofing in Lavonia, GA

This home in Lavonia had a lot of water coming through this basement wall, which was starting to cause problems for the homeowner. She noticed the soaked wall after awhile, not thinking much of it for awhile, but when the water continued to soak through she called All-Dry of the Carolinas to come out and figure out exactly what the problem was.

The "before" photo shows the wall that was in question. The water that was soaking through is very obvious in this picture. As you can see, about a foot or two from the corner on each side is soaked through the wall. This can cause pretty serious issues through the growth of mold or mildew on the wood or insulation in the basement.

The "after" picture shows the same area after all of the work was done in the basement. The first thing that you may notice in the picture is the sump pump. The one that was installed in this home was a SuperSump pump system. It can pump out over 2,000 gallons an hour. Another big change is the BrightWall panels which are covering the entire wall that had been there before. The biggest thing that this paneling does is to help move the water coming through the wall to the WaterGuard. Which leads us to the product that you can't see, the WaterGuard drain. This drain is under the concrete but is extremely important because it is what gets the water to the sump pump.

Foundation Waterproofing in Honea Path, SC

This home in Honea Path was dealing with quite a bit of water intrusion from the back wall of the garage. The homeowner noticed this issue and called us to deal with it as soon as we could. We were able to come out to the home and install a few products that were able to solve this homeowner's problem for good. Our crew installed WaterGuard drain, and a SuperSump pump system to help with the drainage in the garage.

The "before" picture shows what the garage looked like before and shows the water that was coming through the walls, which was the main problem that this homeowner was dealing with. As you can see, this wasn't just a small leak either, but rather a large amount of intrusion coming from this area.

The "after" photo shows a different story however, with our WaterGuard having been installed. While it still looks wet (and still may be to a certain extent), this home is in much better shape than it had been with our drain system installed. The WaterGuard, which is the dark area around the perimeter of the garage, leaves a little gap between the wall and the floor. This gap is enough to catch any water that comes through the walls and drain it to the SuperSump pump system.

WaterGuard added in Honea Path, SC Basement

In this basement we placed WaterGuard, a SuperSump, an UltraSump, and Bright Wall. These products work together to capture the water as it comes down the wall and flush it from the basement. Bright Wall was tacked to the wall, so the water that flows down it would be guided straight to the WaterGuard. WaterGuard was added to the side of the basement where the water was coming in. This WaterGuard is a drainage system that is placed in the floor and angled so that any water it collects will be guided to the SuperSump Pump. WaterGuard is different because it is designed to not sit in dirt like most draining systems do. There is a special wall flange that creates space between the floor and wall allowing wall seepage to drain through the WaterGuard while keeping it away from the dirt. Since this type of drainage is separated from dirt, the chances of it clogging are nearly impossible! The WaterGuard directs the water to the SuperSump Pump where it is then flushed from the basement outside to the LawnScape outlet.

In the “before” picture you can see water damage around the perimeter of the basement. In the “after” picture you can see where WaterGuard and Bright Wall have been installed to waterproof the area.
