We were very impressed with the work ethic of the two men who installed our system. Our basement is now dry!

We purchased a home with an American Waterworks Basement System with dual sump pumps in November. We scheduled an annual service visit in January in order to learn about the system and make sure everything was functioning correctly. Then, one of the sump pumps went out (at the age of 21 years) this week. For both service calls, the technicians, Darin, in January, and Mitch, in March, were professional, extremely knowledgeable, very personable, and efficient. They truly went above and beyond to teach us about the system and provide us with helpful tips and pointers. We could not be happier with the service we have received from American Waterworks! 

Sheri Gibson of Roberts, Wisconsin chose to have American Waterworks do Waterproofing work on their home because of the statements she has heard from previous customers, along with the quality of work ethic and products. Eric was probably one of the better more competent representatives I have had the pleasure of working with. He explained everything thoroughly and in a way that made sense to me. They were booked out two months when I called them but the project date of work was right on. They said it would take two days, and it was done in two days. Their workers were courteous and professional. Even though it has been less than a month, I have had no more water in my basement, and we have had some MAJOR RAIN! They said I could go ahead and lay carpet. I still check each time it rains and there is no water! The system they put in is guaranteed for the life of my home and they come out once a year, at no cost to me, and check the system! So far, I love it! It was expensive, but not having to pump water after every rain makes the cost not seem so bad! 

I hired American Waterworks for crawl space encapsulation in my home. I highly recommend this company. They are top-notch, professional, courteous, and kept the area clean. Shane is a representative with the company and helped me through this crawl space encapsulation process. He made sure I understood everything and what the job entailed from start to finish. Then I met with the foreman on installation day. The installation crew was professional, courteous, and did a fantastic job. The crew worked hard to get the job done and finished the job ahead of time. After the job was completed, Shane followed up with me to make sure I was happy with the job and if I had any follow-up questions. This company does a lot of work with crawl spaces, basements, and their teams are very knowledgeable. I would not hesitate using American Waterworks.

My husband and I live in a home built in 1913. While it was mostly remodeled before we moved in about 6 years ago, we're pretty sure the basement hadn’t been touched in 107 years! After almost 6 years of fighting the mustiness, dampness, occasional flooding and general creepiness of the basement we called American Waterworks on the recommendation of our neighbors. Our sales rep, Hector, spent a ton of time with us, was clear about the work and the cost and was always available for follow up questions throughout the process. We thought the drain tile, sump pump, cleanspace wall system and sani-dry dehumidifier/air purification system would be able to help enough to make our basement more pleasant and less damp. What we didn’t expect was the immediate and total improvement of the space. Arturo and his crew were top notch, completing the work in the scheduled 4 days, always happily answering our million questions and going above and beyond to ensure quality. After they were finished, we could not believe the transformation. The moisture is literally gone. Our kitchen and top of the stairs area used to smell musty, that’s gone. In the days after they finished the work we got big rainstorms that would usually cause water to come up through the floor. That’s gone. We had an appraiser out after the work was done and he was impressed with the work and said he never sees basements that could be finished in these old houses but he wouldn’t hesitate now to finish this one. It’s added immediate value to our home and added quality of life value to our everyday living, along with peace of mind that we’re breathing clean, dry air. Highly recommend this company!

Our of the other 3 companies, Ameican Waterworks was the only one to include windows and window wells. We also loved the wall options. The office staff was very friendly, and the design specialist, Jeremy, did a great job describing the different options we had. The finished product is beautiful! Our project was done December 3-4, 2018 in Blue Earth, MN. We actually live about 2.5 hours away, and it is difficult for us to get to Blue Earth often. We were not able to be on-site during the basement update, consisting of powerbraces and anchor. However, the project Foreman, Dylon VanCanneyt, did a great job calling us and advising us as the project was being worked. 1. He told us in advance of potential problems with venting and floor coverings in the areas being worked. No special efforts were needed. 2. He called us when the project was completed. 3. He told me the location of the powerbrace wrench, and gave me instructions on how to use it, along with some more helpful information. We made the trip to Blue Earth in mid-March, and the reinforcement braces and anchor look great! The installation crew did a good job of clean-up, and we are really happy with the work! We researched American Waterworks on the company website, and that was the factor in contacting your company. The Design Specialist, Ryan Powell, we talked with in October prior to the project was professional - no pressue. He was willing to spend several hours with us as we looked at the project needs. We had a discount for signing the day he gave us the estimate - nice savings, and we thought the price was competitive. Thank you!!   

We had American Waterworks fix our crawl space this past winter. We live on a lake and after the wet fall we had 7 inches of standing water down there. They raised the sagging floor with several jacks, put in a drain tile system, encapsulated the crawl space, installed a sump pump, and a dehumidifier. The crew was awesome having to do all that work in our 3’ crawl space. After the snow this winter, that sump pump ran a lot this Spring and we couldn’t be more pleased with the job they did. Very professional. Worth every penny.

I have a cement slab crawl space but the house sits on wet soil and there is alot of shifting during the season. Our neighborhood has had a problem with garter snakes the past two years gaining entrance into our living spaces. They are under the cement slab and manage to get into the crawl space between the cement slab and walls of the crawl space. I Store many items in this space so this was a problem. After battling this for two years with two wildlife eviction services, I chose to have American Waterworks encase the crawl space. It is wonderful! The men were here on time, were very tidy, professional, and got the job done in a very timely manner. I now have an attractive, bright, clean crawl space where I can store my belongings with no fear of running into any more garter snakes. An added plus is that there is no more moisture that can get in the crawl space either. My peace of mind is well worth the expense.
