I'm in Lake Oswego, OR and I just finished having my house leveled by Terrafirma Foundation Systems. I found four contractors that did this kind of work on Angie's List to start, but only two provided bids at all (one wanted to charge and one promised a bid, but didn't deliver). Of those four, only one -- Terrafirma -- actually measured the house. The salesman was very thorough and gave me confidence that they were going to do a good job if I picked them, but they didn't. They did a *great* job.
Drew, the foreman, was young, but very good at making sure the work got done on time and managing my questions. I've known much older, more experienced foremen not do half as well as Drew did.And the quality of the work and the cleanup speaks for itself. Not only have the cracks throughout the house come back together, but the concrete porch sections that were removed were re-poured, the fence was put back up and the river rock in the garden bed was returned as if it had never been removed. In a week or two, I don't even think you'll be able to tell that anything has happened at my house at all, let along jacking up the entire foundation. Terrafirma was the most professional at the lowest price and they did excellent work. What more can you ask for than that?
